Ce projet cherche à représenter les réactions émotionnelles et la rumination à travers de photographies et de compositions écrites. All over se réfère à l'expression d’un sentiment qui se manifeste lorsque nous sommes émotionnellement surexcités : "le ressentir partout".

All over looks to represent emotional reactions and rumination through photographs and written compositions. Its title refers to the expression that describes how a feeling manifests when we are emotionally overexcited: "to feel it all over".

Through various lens based techniques (35mm, Polaroid, mobile phone and GoPro) and processes such as Cyanotype, I wish to explore the inherent surroundings to capture the Arctic’s natural elements that make up the unique character of this precarious region.

The Cyanotype printing process travels well and is an effective and nontoxic approach to create rather ethereal images that transcend lens based photography. This alternative photographic technique, with its deep blue hues and distinct textures, will add to my visual narratives by transcribing ideas of cold, ice and water.

The Cyanotypes, photographic images and video footage I capture will be connected with short prose or poetry around the idea of All over. By integrating the emotional, visual, and environmental dimensions of this autumn expedition, I want to experiment with the unique character of the Arctic to make work that corresponds to how and what “feeling it all over” could look, mean and represent.

I hope to reflect the deep emotional resonance of the Arctic and communicate the psychological states of awe, concern, and reverence this remote yet globally significant region will provoke. In doing so, I aim to encourage contemplation offering viewers a visual journey through the heart of environmental vulnerability and how it affects our intrapersonal dialogues.
